Wearing the Uniform

Now there was a time when I was young and I will admit, there where times I wore the uniform. But I knew damn well what I was doing when I put on a tiny top and a skirt that was too short to pants that were too tight. Was it sexy? Well yeah in a one night stand, don't really need to know your name kind of way. But it wasn't sensual, it damn sure wasn't mysterious, and it didn't attract the man I married. I think it is so sad that so few of young women today know the difference between Victoria's Secret and Fredrick's of Hollywood. There is a fine line between erotica and porn. And while the lines can be blurred at times, there are distinct differences. I received far more attention in my military uniform (back in the day) than I ever did in my whore's uniform. And the quality of the attention was as different as day and night. While I would get the touchy grabby kind in the whore uniform, I would get the undivided attention of men who may have wanted me the sexual being, but they also wanted me the person. What are your experiences? And how do you feel about wearing the uniform?

I agree 100%. My granma use to say, "A classy woman can dress like a sex kitten, but a slutty woman cannot be sexy."..something like that, anywho. Men are attracted to a classy sexy confident woman. I have to say that that's how I met my husband. However, there is a fine line between classy and sleezy.

The problem with society today is that most don’t know the difference between sexy and slutty. Almost every advertisement teaches women young and old that it’s okay to go out half-dressed. In my opinion, as a woman, until we learn to love ourselves as women who are wonderfully and beautifully made, whether a size three or twenty-three, we will never know the difference between sexy and slutty. In the end it’s all about self-esteem. How an individual feel about him or herself.

The young ladies need to learn how to respect their bodies and stop showing off their temples to boys and/or men who will never respect or treat them like the princesses they were meant to be. Heck I could probably own stock in Victoria Secret the difference is that the only person that sees my Victoria is my husband and I wear it every day.

When I was younger and crazy I had a top that was like the one Dave explained. Titties GALORE! I got all sorts of mixed reactions, it could've had something to do with the jeans I had on which were teamed with shit kicker Doc Martens...but yeah, I got the grabby attention from dudes and then I got myself dragged out of that club by my man who was NOT happy until those shit kicker boots were on his shoulders...LMAO! As for the difference, there's not much between the SLUT and SIREN. And sure as shit MEN do not know the difference. Not sure if any of this made sense...

Jeanie should clarify that that man who dragged her out of the club is her man...smile

this is such a right on time blog. I don't have the body to rock the outfit without being the brunt of jokes but if I had a Serena Wms type body, I might not wear the outfit but I'd have to play tennis, be an iceskater or move to sweden to be part of the bikini team b/c i'd rock the shyt out of next-to-nothing outfits.

but still, there is a time and place and women don't get that even though you have a right to wear whatever you want, peeps don't react the way you want to...and people don't forget that you used to be that girl that...fill in the blank.

also wearing the outfit has ramifications that are immediate. i tell my girls if we're going out and you're dressed inappropriately you can change or stay at home b/c i'm not going to get in a knock-down drag out fight when you get unwanted attention from a dude that you can't handle...

media does a fine job of making the female body a canvas for the fantasies of everybody else and too many women fall into that.
